Wujiang Gallery

The Wujiang Gallery Scenic Area is located in the junction area of southeast Chongqing and northeast Guizhou, covering the main stream and tributaries of the Wujiang River in Pengshui County, Youyang County, Chongqing City, and Yanhe County, Guizhou Province. The Pengshui and Youyang sections of Wujiang River are about 100 kilometers long, which is the most essence of Wujiang River. The landscape elements of Wujiang Gallery include mountains resembling axes, water like jade, winding branches, and water birds frolicking. Strange rocks, clear waters, dangerous shoals, ancient towns, covered bridges, winding paths, and hanging burials. Especially Litchi Gorge, Baiji Gorge, and Tutuozi Gorge are the masterpieces of the Wujiang Gallery. The Qing Dynasty poet Mei Ruoweng praised them, saying that the water in the mountains of Shu is unique and should be ranked first. Wujiang Company owns 2 antique painted boats (with a passenger capacity of 150 people per boat) and 3 modern luxury yachts (with a passenger capacity of 70-80 people per boat) in the scenic area. We invested 150 million yuan to build the Wujiang Gallery Scenic Area Yacht Club, which covers a total area of 13000 square meters and has a main construction area of 7500 square meters. The yacht club is not only a safe harbor for antique painted boats and luxury yachts in the scenic area, but also a comprehensive yacht base that integrates tourist reception, water sports, leisure tourism, and characteristic hotels. The Wujiang Gallery Scenic Area has successively won the "Most Popular Scenic Area of the Year" award in the China Tourism General Evaluation List, and was awarded the "Most Poetic" award in the selection of favorite tourist destinations (routes).
