Kowloon Pavilion

63.jpg

This pavilion is a nine pillar, nine flying eave, two pavilion style upturned corner platform. To the north is Longyin Cave, and to the south is Longdan Beach. It is said that Longyin Cave is located in Jiulong, and when they return from patrolling the Nine Provinces, they all drink at this pavilion. It is also said that during the Tang Dynasty, princes Li Chengqian, Li Zhong, and Li Ming lived leisurely in Pengshui, often sitting quietly in this pavilion. They regarded the rising rocks on the ground in the pavilion as the Zhongnan Mountain and caressed it with their hands to cherish their homeland, hence the name Jiulong Pavilion.
